Driving 2006 Ford Fusion

With the new V6 in 2006 Ford Fusion there is enough power to take the car from a stop to 60 mph in 8 seconds. It is not that quick as Toyota Camry or Honda Accord but still is a good performance.
2006 Ford Fusion has a long wheel base and a wide track with wheels at the corners of the car. This gives the new ford better ride and very good handling. The suspension at the front is short and long arm design and the suspension of the rear is a multi link suspension.
The 2006 Ford Fusion SEL has an automatic 6 speed transmission which is very smooth. Shift from D to L locks the 5th and 6th gear.
The new V6 engine has a fuel economy of 29 miles per gallon. This is good economy and the four cylinder engine coupled with a manual 5 speed transmission improves the economy by couple of miles.
2006 Ford Fusion comes with a front wheel drive with two engine options, three trim levels and three transmission options. Later in 2006 model year an all wheel drive 2006 Ford Fusion will also be available.
2006 Ford Fusion S costs $ 17,345. Standard options include 4 wheel disc brake, standard air conditioning, tilt and telescope steering wheel, keyless remote entry and power window, door locks and mirrors, and CD/MP3 stereo system with four speakers.
2006 Ford Fusion SE has some upgrades such as powered 6-way driving seat, stereo system gets 2 additional speakers, steering wheel mounted audio and speed controls, illuminated dual mirrors and center stack patch work of carbon fiber.
2006 Ford Fusion SEL model has more features than the SEL. These include fog lamps, automatic climate control, CD/MP3 in dash 6-CD stereo system, piano black or wooden interior trim, analog clock, steering wheel wrapped in leather and 17 inch alloys.
V6 3.0 liters engine which produce 221 horsepower is available for the SE and SEL Ford Fusion models. The transmission offered with this V6 engine is automatic 6-speed and no manual version is available.
Optional features available for the 2006 Ford Fusion are a powered moon roof and leather seats.
