2006 Ford Mustang is available as a convertible or a fast back coupe. The line up is not so complicated. The engine option is a V6 or a V8. The models with V6 engines have value in focus where as the models with V8 has performance in focus. Transmission that comes with standard with ford mustang is a manual 5 speed but optional automatic 5 speed transmission is also available.

V6 Standard coupe

The standard coupe has a V6 engine and costs $19,115. V6 Premium coupe

Mustang convertibles

The convertibles have the same sort of division. Convertibles have the same equipment like the coupes and have a powered folding top. The three models are V6 standard, V6 Deluxe and V6 Premium costing $23,940, $24,040 and &24,915 respectively.

Pony Package

This package is introduced in 2006 and has a show of V8 for the V6 owner’s including customizable front grille and fog lights, firmer suspension. 17 inch alloy wheels and Pony emblems.

Mustang GT Deluxe and Premium Coupe

This Cope costs $25,140. It has a V8 4.6 liter engine that produces 300 horsepower. It has in grille fog lamps, rear spoiler, and halogen complex reflector head lights that have turn signal integrated into them and 17 inch alloy wheels.

GT premium coupe costs $ 26,320 and adds Aberdeen leather trim sporty bucket seats and a 500 watt audio system with CD changer.

The GT convertibles

The GT convertible with its V8 costs $29,965 and the GT premium costs $31,145.

Optional Features

Ford Mustang also has some optional features. These include automatic 5-speed transmission for $995, 1000 watt stereo system for $1,250, anti theft active system for $225, satin alum trim interior for $450 and 18 inch alloy wheels for the GT cost $195.

2006 Ford Mustang Safety Features

Safety features include dual staged front impact air bags, three point seat belts, traction control and ABS brakes. ABS and Traction comes as an option for the V6 models costing $775. The side impact air bags for the passenger are optional for $370.
