The 2006 Passat 3.6L costs $29,950. It is powered by all new V6 producing 280 hp and has a Tiptronic Automatic 6 speed transmission. Later in 2006 4 wheel drive 3.6L Motion Passat will also be available costing $31,900.

Volkswagen Passat 3.6L Standard Features

It includes all the standard features in the 2.0T. It also contains 17 inch alloys that go with all season tires, CD player with MP3 placed in the dashboard, powered sunroof, chromed front grille horizontal bars and a satellite radio.

The stand alone features that can be added in 3.6L include heated front seats for $120, side impact airbags for $300, Dynaudio sound system for $1000 and a satellite DVD navigational system for $1,800.

Luxury Package #1

This package cost $2,750 and adds comfort leather seats, handsome wooden trim, 4 spoke steering wheel covered in leather and a walnut shifting knob. Automatic headlamps with come home attribute, wipers with rain sensors, fog lights, heated front seats, heated washer nozzles are added. The exterior mirrors are replaced with heated ones and have environmental lighting system. This package costs $3,050 and delivers the following features to your car; sport leather seats, 3 spoke steering wheel covered in leather, aluminum trim, wipers with rain sensors and fog lights. The automatic headlights that have coming home attribute are also very good upgrade for your car. The front seats are now heated along with exterior heated mirrors that have environmental lighting system. A dual zone Climate control, automatic dimming interior rear view mirror and Home link is also added. To increase the driuve comfort front seats get 12-way powered and 3 memory positions for exterior mirrors and driver’s seats are also available. Rear and sides manual sun shades and storage net in the cars trunk is also installed.

Luxury Package #2

This package costs $5,250 and includes all the standard features present in the Luxury Package #1 plus it has Front Adaptive Lighting System bi-xenon head lights, car sound system of Dyn-Audio premium and parking distance control.

Sport Package #2

This package has all features in Sport Package #1 and has all the features of Luxury Package #2 as well.
