2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse doesn’t adopt a single body panel from the previous generation models but still the new external features are blended so neatly in the 2006 car that the first sight will tell that it’s an eclipse.

2006 Mitsubishi Front

2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse has soft styling with more curves than before. The new eyelike housings for the head lamps instead of angular ones on previous models have certainly given the car a graceful look. A split grille at the front end is filled with recessed honey comb black mesh above bumper and intake below. The fog lamps are now placed father at the ends than before beneath head lamps. The wheels have more separation between them about 2 inches. This gives 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse more stability in corners and also gives a more planted look.

2006 Mitsubishi New Inside Profile

2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse carries the same soft styling of exterior to the inside profile as well. The A pillar flows into hood where as the C pillar flows into the trunk. The doors loose the streaks of 2005 model and they are tucked inwards while approaching the B pillar. This body styling give the eclipse a wasp waist looks. The rear side wheel wells are big and they definitely need to have bigger wheels to fill the space even in the GT.

2006 Mitsubishi Rear

The 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse rear is designed to be called as almost a circle. The rear is designed on the Galant expansive platform. A simple three dimensional translucent plastic spoiler is placed between the tail lights. License plate is placed in a recess in rear face of the car. The exhaust tip is at the right side and the GT’s tip is known as a muffler cutter.
