2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse Lineup

2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse like before comes with a single body shape.
It is a four seat, 2-door coupe. For 2006 lineup two engines have been offered. One of them is a four cylinder engine producing 162 horsepower where as the other engine is a V6 producing 263 horsepower.
Transmission for both engines has manual or automatic option. The four cylinder engine can have manual 5-speed or a Sportronic transmission which is automatic 4-speed transmission. The V6 can either have a manual 6 speed transmission or a Sportronic transmission which is automatic 5-speed transmission.

2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS

The base 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS costs $19,399. The GS is equipped with a four cylinder 162 hp engine with a standard manual 5 speed transmission. The GS can also have an automatic 4 speed transmission for an extra $900.

The standard features include cloth upholstery, cruise control, automatic off halogen head lights, central locking, powered exterior mirrors and windows, air conditioning, FM/AM stereo system with MP3, front carpeted floor mats, leather covered shift knob, sporty tilt steer wheel, interior time delay lights and audio display on the top of the dash along with the clock.

2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS Optional Features

2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS optional package Sun & Sound costs $1500. It includes a powered sun roof, CD changer 6-disc in dash Rockford Fosgate 650 watt stereo system with 10 inch sub woofer mounted in cargo area and 9 speakers. Redundant controls for audio mounted on the steering wheel, rear view auto dimming mirror, audio displaying along with a clock, compass and exterior temperature measure.

An accessory package can also be added which includes a cargo net, wheel locks, an alloy fuel door, trunk floor mats, for $270. Sunset Pearlescent paint can be added for an extra $130. The accessories available are mud guards for front and rear, halogen fog lights and aero kit.

2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT

2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT costs $23,699. The GT is fitted with a V6 engine delivering very good power of 263 horse power. The manual 6 speed transmission is standard but an optional automatic Sportronic 5 speed transmission for extra $900 is also available. Standard features include everything in the GS model, plus traction control, fog lights, dash top full featured display and strut cross bar for front suspension.

2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT Optional Features

2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT optional Premium Sport upgrade package costs $3270. This package gives the car heated front leather seat surface, instead of manual air-conditioning an automatic air-conditioning, a sunroof, heated exterior mirrors, powered 8-way driver seat, Rockford Fosgate audio system with audio controls on the steering wheel, rear view auto dimming mirror, alloy pedals and 18 inch alloys.

Accessory Package is also available. Pearlescent paint is also a good upgrade option. The accessory list contains mud guards and an aero kit.
